The flower itself tends to collect a lot of hair which tangles around the petals!! I personally think the flower petals are just not a great design!! is just to big It seems to get in my way and and I have to remove hair off of the Flower Petals!! and that seem to me, to defeat the whole purpose of this gadget!! I think the design should be much smaller in my opinion!! Because basically it's the chain that goes down the drain with the hooking things that should be catching the hair!! Having said that it does collect yucky wet hair!! But the flower petals also catches the hair and gets tangled in it. Rather it be in shower or bathtub!! Some people may love it. I say buy it and try it. You may love it. I just have a lot of hair :)
