The anchor itself tends to collect a lot of hair which tangles around the anchor!! I personally think the anchor just is not a great design!! is just to big It seems to get in my way and and I have to remove hair off of the Anchor!! and that seem to me, to defeat the whole purpose of this gadget!! I think the design just catches all the hair!! Because basically it's the chain that goes down the drain with the hooking things that should be catching the hair!! Having said that it does collect yucky wet hair!! But the anchor in the Tub also catches the hair and gets tangled in it. Rather it be in shower or bathtub!! Some people may love it. I say buy it and try it. You may love it. I just have a lots of hair :) and it is more of a pain to me in my Tub:) just keeping it real
