Summer Time and beautiful hummingbirds are flying outside. Everybody needs a Hummingbird feeder in my opinion. Hummingbirds are so amazing and beautiful to watch. I personally have always thought the Hummingbird feeder had to be Red to attracted them. But that is not the case, Good news right. Here is why. Check out this article

Hummingbirds actually see all colors well. Much of nature is green, due to vegetation; the color that contrasts most with green is red, so it's no coincidence that many hummingbird-pollinated flowers that are red or orange;
They are the easiest to see and attract hummingbirds the fastest.That being said, hummingbirds are very curious and are constantly exploring their environment for food sources that satisfy their high-energy needs. Thus, they often "stumble upon" non-red flowers that have good nectar loads and will return to those flowers as long as nectar is available. Bottom line - if you have an established location where hummingbirds are known to feed, your feeder does not have to contain the red color; because of their curiosity, hummingbirds will track down a food source, regardless of color!They are hungry for that nectar. So they will come back daily to get it.
These are made with nice thick glass and easy to pour the nectar into and also easy to clean up. I used to have a hummingbird feeder once and it was so cheaply made, Plus it would leak as soon as the Sun hit it. Well you can image what a mess it made.
