Nice waist belts, Stay put when adjusted to your waist as long as you have it tight enough around your waist. You can wear it over your clothes, yoga wear, running shorts, leggjngs etc... You can wear it lower around your hips but it may bounce around there more!! Now as far as sound quality it works great for an average speaker. While using this in my shower. I found I needed the volume at max level. But I could hear it. On the other hand using it by my pool and hot tub it was pretty hard to hear it there. Of course outside noises can be pretty loud. So I kind of expected that to happen.
