Safety For Hot Weather: It is going to be hot hot hot this next week! Here are some easy summer safety tips for everyone. -Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of fluids. Avoid liquids with alcohol or a lot of sugar. -If possible, limit your time in the sun. The sun's rays are strongest from 10am-4pm. -Use sunscreen! Wear a hat to protect your face. -If you are going swimming make sure kids/weaker swimmers wear life jackets. Always be on the lookout. -Learn how to recognize heat stroke. The symptoms include body temp >103 degrees, no sweating, rapid pulse, headache or dizziness, and red, hot and dry skin. Call 911 and move the person to a shady area. Stay safe and cool! Save Save
