I applied it after a shower to my damp hair. The curls did looked nice and more defined after using it. I have a lot of long curly hair and the sample size was very small to continue to use this on a daily basis. I should have read it was a 1oz sample size lol So I can't speak about long term use in this product it seemed to be a decent hair product gel for my long curly hair. But I personally needed more to really test it out for this review.
