It does contain a bit of fragrance.
And a little will go a long ways. The gel is nice and think. Not runny. Comes in a nice dark colorful container, we do like the easy peasy of using this Cleanser, we liked it for our hair and body as well as face, it leaves your hair healthy.... and your skin not dried out. Everything felt like it was smooth and well moisturized.
