This light is great for the outside and the inside. I have a large garden window with herb plants in it. I tried this solar energy motion sensor light the other night. After charging it in the garden window in the daylight. It worked very well, lite up my garden window and the Herb plants looked beautiful under the light!! It also has a on and off switch, that is huge plus to have on this product!! It is very bright because it has 16 LED lamps. You will really like and need solar lights, because they help you save on your electric bill. Plus I like that it lights up when we walk past the garden window at night. It goes very bright then. You can use this at your front door, back door, attach it to a deck or a balcony! I may attach this to my upper deck out the bedroom slider. It would be a nice light for when we are out there at night. It is weather proof, very nice feature for the outside. Because you never know when it will start raining  lol seriously it worked well every night this
