It is completely waterproof and even floats! I have used this in the bath and even in the hot tub!! This device Puts on a very nice light show. The light are very bright and have five different lights patterns for show. It does have an on and off switch. That is s nice option to have on this water light show device. The light will flash randomly. Please note it takes batteries. They are not included in the box!! Simply press the button once to turn on lights. And to turn it off you need to hold button got about 2 to 3 seconds. You can create a fabulous light show in your hot tub, bath, I think this will be used a lot at my house in the summer. We all hang out in the pool and hot tub for Warmer months. This is very easy Peasy to use. and does work like it was designed to do. Great for parties in the evening.
